Project Manager/Estimator for Edmonton:

The successful candidate is required to have an industrial and commercial electrical background. They must be self-motivating, possess strong management skills, share Stratus’s core values and want to follow the same vision for company growth.  The candidate should be local to the city of Edmonton and understands the city’s electrical construction and maintenance industry.

Stratus incorporated in August of 2014.  Since then, it has grown in size to a company of 120+ employees and has a strong customer base.  The core of our business is industrial, including but not limited to high voltage substations, food processing, manufacturing,  mining, oil and gas as well as some commercial projects.  Please take some time to view our website www.stratusei.com/ for a better understanding.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be Project Managing as well as estimating in-coming bids and the role will report to the Edmonton Branch Manager.  At Stratus we require the Project Managers to work as a team internally and build strong working relationships externally with customers and vendors.  

• Project Estimating
• Customer Relationships
• Managing Field Staff
• Ensure Safety and QA/QC process are being followed on projects your managing
• Manage Project scheduling, change orders and invoicing
• Project budgeting and forecasting

Education and Experience:

Stratus would like the successful candidate to have both electrical onsite and management experience in both the commercial and industrial industry.

• 3+ years in a management role in the electrical field
• Electrical Journeyman Certificate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Estimating (proficient in Accubid estimating program is an asset)
• PMP designation (an asset)
• LSE Training 
• Team Oriented
