Last week the Stratus project managers and site superintendents from both Edmonton and Calgary spent 2 days in a Project Management course.  After the course the boys kicked back with a night of axe throwing!  Dave “Tomahawk” Meyer ended up victorious and of course good times were had by all!

Requirements:

Stratus is looking for experienced industrial electricians for modular process, compressor, MCC, VFD and analyzer skid construction. As well as experienced electricians in manufacturing plants, agriculture, and sub-stations. The applicant should be capable of handling various skill levels to execute projects effectively while stay on time lines.  Attention to detail and quality are a necessity.

• Familiar with reading and interpreting P&IDs and installation details
• Self-Starter
• High attention to detail
• MI Experience
• Safety oriented
• Ability to pass site pre-access drug & alcohol test
• An asset to have the following valid safety tickets:
  • CSTS-09, OSSA Fall Arrest, OSSA Lift Training and First Aid

Stratus is looking for an experienced QA/QC Lead with industrial electrical & instrumentation construction experience.  The applicant should be capable of handling various projects while meeting all time lines.  High attention to detail and is a necessity.

• Experienced in reading and interpreting P&IDs and installation details
• Experience with industrial electrical programs
• Self-Starter
• Experience producing redline drawings using Bluebeam pdf
• Experience with word and excel
• Organize and maintain quality control documents
• Safety oriented
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in the office and field environments, not afraid to occasionally assist crews on the tools
