Description: Full electrical and integration of AC/DC on a 78,720 solar module farm.

Description: This job required the integration of a heritage building into a fire station. Our job was to maintain electrical services during the new construction,  as well as complete electrical installation of the new building.

Description: Electrical installations on 38 process modules for the CNRL Kirby North project

Description: Expansion to natural gas generation plant. Added two additional generators with carbon capture systems. Generation Plant is now able to produce 5 megawatts of power.

Description: Wire a natural gas Generation Plant with carbon capture systems. Generation plant can produce 3 megawatts of power. 

Service: Instrumentation construction and maintenance 
Description: Working on both brown and green field construction, Stratus’ strong instrumentation team was brought in to work on live site tasks and technical support. This project required a lot of last second asks that required quick turn around and tight deadlines. With our clients needs in mind Stratus was able to compete this project on time and on budget.

Description: Construction of well site separator modules. Install instruments and tubing as well as pressure tests.

Description: Stratus utilizes an ABSA approved QMS and has ongoing contract to review Envent’s work and test it accordingly  

Service: Electrical and instrumentation and glycol heat trace construction and commission 
Description: With this plant only 90% completed back in 2014, Stratus managed to piece together the previous contractor work and create a new full design plan to complete this plant. This included updating weather damaged areas and replacing outdated or damaged pieces.

Description: Stratus took on a complex technical layout for the integration of 11 analyzers in 2 shelters. With limited scope, Stratus worked closely with our client and took the reins on developing the project workplace from managing heavy equipment to installing tubing and conduit, in a very tight space. Stratus was focused on making our customers life easy by giving them 24 hour assistance and attention where needed. 

Service: Full design build 
Description: Stratus took on the challenge of building a 77,000 square foot cannabis facility. Stratus provided full project management from electrical engineering, architectural engineering to full site installation. Stratus worked closely with our client to ensure we brought in the right mechanical and general contractors in order to complete this project on time and on budget.

Description: As the preferred maintenance contractor for all of Alberta, Stratus provides all electrical needs from station builds to RTU upgrades, as well as new services, which include running power from transformer poles, to bringing power to site. To ease our customers time and money, Stratus took on the coordination of more than just the electrical portion. This included completing the hydrovac, trenching, and the ordering/coordinating of heavy equipment.

Description: Stratus took on full project coordination for this service site. Working through floor renovations and electrical service calls at Shell centre. All data work, communication work and install work was performed by Stratus to make our clients life easy.

Service: Electrical Integration 
Description: Stratus completed the electrical integration of 3 Electrical Buildings. Scope of work included complete installations for both general purpose and hazardous rated locations. With a limited timeline and little fabrication completed Stratus quickly assembled a large crew of experienced electricians to work long hours. With making our customers life easy at the forefront, Stratus met their required shipping dates. 

Service: Electrical Integration 
Description: This project had tight timelines and extreme temperatures, but with an experienced crew, Stratus was able to complete the project on time and on budget. Stratus’ focus is to make our customers lives easy, even with drawings being updated daily, Stratus accepted the challenge and delivered a Grade A product to the end user. The scope of work included Mineral Insulated Heat Trace installation, self-regulating Heat Trace installation, lighting, cable tray, junction box installs. 

Service: Electrical Integration 
Description: Completed electrical integration for eight Process Buildings. Stratus was challenged with changing shipping dates and overlapping schedules. Stratus managed to leverage manpower resources to meet large labour requirements for each building and completed the project on budget and shipping the buildings on time.

Description: Provided full design, engineering services, and electrical construction for raw material handling project. Scope of work including MCC lineup retrofit, cable tray installation, distribution, and control wiring installation. The Stratus crew was able to work closely with the plant electrical staff to ensure a design and installation that met their needs.

Description: Provided electrical engineering services and construction for 5 auxiliary plant buildings. Stratus completed installations for both general purpose and hazardous rated locations. With challenging timelines, the client could rely on Stratus to quickly assemble a night crew and work around the clock to meet the shipping date.

Description: Delivered a complete building package with full electrical construction for one control building. Worked closely with the end user to ensure a seamless installation into the existing control system. Oversaw and coordinated building fabrication and construction including building transportation to site.

Description: Stratus’ crew was instrumental in completing electrical integration for 5 Piperack Modules. Scope of work included Mineral Insulated Heat Trace installation, Self-regulating Heat Trace installation, lighting, cable tray, junction box installs. With tight timelines Stratus’ experienced crew were able to make up time on an extremely tight schedule and resulted in on-time delivery. 

Service: Electrical Integration 
Description: Stratus took on the challenge of completing full electrical integration for 1 E house and 1 controlling building, which were being sent to Nigeria and required to be wired based on Nigerian voltages. Stratus worked closely with our customer to ensure all distribution and control equipment would integrate and operate correctly.

Description: Stratus took the initiative to review the clients needs in order for them to take advantage of the government LED rebate. Status reviewed and accessed the building and completed a full analysis to determine what would be the best for the client. In the end our client was pleasantly surprised that 50% of their lighting was paid for through the rebate program without any extra work on their end in order to claim it. 

Service: Electrical 
Description: Stratus was asked to deploy a team last second to fix an immediate issue. Having to procure new cable due to a high voltage cable that failed underground. With high water table and trenches filling up with water, the facility was unable to run its day-to-day tasks. Stratus managed to get the cable changed out quickly to reduce the facility downtime. To further support the client, Stratus created a special on-call option so that we were on standby for testing and any further issues.  

Service: Electrical design and engineering 
Description: The scope of this job required moving existing machining equipment into a new building. The design had to be a complete remodel and required an installation of upgraded electrical distribution. Stratus coordinated Enmax to come in and upgrade the service for our client. This project was on such a large scale that each piece of equipment required its own transformer to provide exact voltage. Dealing with a tight timeline and with such a large-scale project, our client was so pleased with the work that Status earned the maintenance contract moving forward. 

Service: General Contractor 
Description: This project required a parking lot re-design, both Truck and storage parking lots needed power for block heaters and power jacks. Stratus designed, coordinated and completed more than just the electrical work of installing cast in place light standard bases and Jersey blocks. Stratus brought in people to complete directional drilling for underground feeders, paving, measuring and line painting for parking lot. This project came under budget and reduced the stress of our customers as we accepted the challenge to take on more to make our customers lives easy. 

Service: Power and Controls Overhaul.
Scope: Complete overhaul of the 480V power and controls including remote control for the sluice gates at the Bearspaw hydro-dam. This project has a lot of obstacles based on location of the work and access to the top of the dam platform. As part of our scope of work we are required to move new equipment to the top of the platform and in turn take the old gear back down. This was exceptionally challenging because to use a crane we had to reach over the generation building to place the gear on the top of the platform. Stratus had to come up with a plan and decided that the best way to do this lift was with a helicopter which was something we have never done before.

Service: Electrical upgrade.

Description: With a full-scale overhaul of their packaging conveyor/shaker and a tight timeline that required 24/7 work, stratus met all deadlines and finished early with extra commissioning days. Client was so impressed with how well the project ran, with such a strong crew and no delays.

Service: Complete electrical design/build and construction of lentil splitting and packaging plant.
Description: A project like no other for Stratus. This required equipment to be ordered from Turkmenistan and working closely with an interpreter.
