Our Lethbridge branch was bursting with holiday cheer this season, rallying together to make a difference in the community! The team fired up the Big Rig BBQ for the Christmas Jubilee fundraiser in support of Safe Families of Lethbridge. Mike Nakatani, Michael Jetz, Brad Newcombe, and Pat Martindale manned the grill throughout the evening, with all hot dog sales and silent auction proceeds going directly to the charity. Together, they raised over $3,000 in just one night! The giving didn’t stop there—throughout November, the team also participated in the Safe Families Tiny House Piggy Bank fundraiser, collecting spare change from trucks and cars, bottle recycling from job sites, and donations from sales reps, vendors, and customers. Their efforts added an additional $160 to the cause.
We are so proud of the Lethbridge team for their incredible efforts and for bringing the community together to support such meaningful charities.

Over the past year and currently, we have been hard at work on our biggest solar farm yet! We are thrilled to be partnered with RES on the Big Sky Solar Project near Acadia Valley, Alberta.
Project Snapshot:
RES Canada is constructing the Big Sky Solar Project, a 140 MWac solar energy venture located 2.5 km northwest of Acadia Valley. It features 340,000 top-notch solar panels on rotating mounts to track the best angle of sunlight for optimized production, complete with 38 inverters transforming the DC power generated from the array to usable AC power back to utility.
This project marks Stratus' largest undertaking to date, spanning 16 months of installation work covering around 15 kilometers of AC underground cable and 300 kilometers (Approximately the length of 3,000 football fields laid end to end) of DC cable. We're excited to continue contributing to these clean energy initiatives and are committed to working on all aspects of clean energy.
What is so amazing about this solar farm is that it is expected to operate for over 30 years! This project will generate clean energy and contribute significantly to the region's renewable energy goals.

Yesterday, the Stratus team had the privilege to volunteer with Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK). We rolled up our sleeves and packed 3,706 lunches for children across Calgary schools.
BB4CK has been a consistent source of support for over 30 years, ensuring that every child has access to nutritious food. With nearly 1 in 3 children in Alberta facing food insecurity, their mission is crucial. They connect volunteers, parents, school staff, and donors to provide meals that not only nourish but also foster a sense of community and belonging.
We're proud to support BB4CK in their commitment to making a positive impact. Special thanks to all our team members who joined and to BB4CK for the incredible work they do.

Our team recently worked on an incredible custom treehouse built by Charmed Resorts, set to make its way to California.
We took on the challenge of installing lights and receptacles in this one-of-a-kind design. The treehouse splits into two sections, each dividing into 6 pie-shaped pieces for transport, which made the install tricky. But we accepted the challenge!
With all electrical materials sourced from the U.S. and installed to NEC standards, we made sure to minimize interconnects, making it super simple for anyone to put it all together. Easy for transport, and easy for the new owners to enjoy!
It’s these kinds of creative challenges that keep us inspired and always pushing the limits of what we can do.
